Kent has over 13 years of experience in web development, infrastructure and architecture for large-scale websites, mobile service layers and enterprise-level intranet web apps. A Technology Directory & System Architect at Rockfish Interactive, a WPP company, Kent manages a key client development team, hosting and architecture, as well as the internal IT support team. At Rockfish Kent has led the development team and architected the corporate website for Walmart, architected the hosting environment for over 100 client websites, and scaled the internal infrastructure to support 170+ employees in 4 offices in 3 states.
Kent formerly worked at Tyson Foods, where he developed the corporation’s intranet in 1999 and the company’s public website www.tyson.com in 2003. During his tenure there he served as administrator for the web hosting environment, developer frameworks, multiple enterprise intranet applications and extranet applications with Active Directory and SAP integration.
Kent earned his B.S. in Information Systems from the University of Arkansas, and in 2006 he received his MIS from the Walton College Graduate School of Business, University of Arkansas, concentrating in SAP. Kent currently lives in Fayetteville with his wife and two children.
