After completing his degree in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Arkansas, Scott Mills wanted to combine his passions for the Internet, entrepreneurship, and Northwest Arkansas. He was able to accomplish this by co-founding IFWORLD, Inc., in 1995. It became the area’s first fast and reliable Internet service. IFWORLD also soon focused on providing web application development. Scott loves creating new products and services. In recent years, he has focused that energy by building web and iPhone applications.
A winner of “Young Entrepreneur of the Year” in 1999 for the 5-state Region by the SBA, Scott’s efforts have also been recognized with honors from the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” and a “Distinguished Young Alumni Award” from the University of Arkansas’ College of Engineering.
